How is fabric sold?
All fabric is priced per half metre. Choose 2 for 1m, 3 for 1.5m and so on – it's always cut as one continuous length, unless we're at the very end of a roll, in which case we'll contact you before sending.
The colour looks different on my screen – why?
We photograph our fabrics in natural light, but screens vary. If you're unsure about a shade, get in touch and we'll describe it for you.
Should I pre-wash my fabric?
Yes, always. Natural fibres can shrink a little (around 3–5%) on the first wash, so pre-wash at 30°C before you cut. Care details for each fabric are on its product page.
How long will my order take?
Fabric orders are dispatched within 2 working days and sent by Royal Mail Tracked 48, which usually arrives 2–3 working days later. UK delivery starts at £3.50 and is free on orders over £50. You'll get a tracking link as soon as your parcel is on its way. See all delivery rates.
Can I return fabric?
Because fabric is cut to order, we can't accept returns on cut lengths. Uncut, unwashed fabric can be returned within 14 days if you change your mind – just email us first. If anything is faulty or wrong, let us know within 7 days and we'll put it right with a replacement or a full refund.
How do Pattern Library files work?
Pattern files are instant downloads – no physical item is sent. Each listing explains what's included and what the licence covers. Need a bigger licence or a different colourway? Just ask.
